Andrew Smith today visited Oxford-based charity one-eighty, which works with school-age young people who are having difficulties with their social, school and family circumstances. Many of the young people supported are in children's homes or with foster parents.

Andrew said: "This is really important work, helping young people to find their way forward and to get their lives back on track, building self-esteem and re-engaging with school and social life in a construcitve way. It is very heartening to learn of the great success-rate of the programmes one-eighty provide."

Andrew discussed the work of the charity and their supportive programmes with Director of Interventions Johnny Latham and Director of Group Work Susie Besant (pictured above), at their base in Northway. One-eighty has been designated Infineum Charity of the Year. You can find out more about the work of one-eighty here.
