Andrew Smith MP welcoms Ed Miliband's announcement that Labour would freeze energy bills until 2017.
Andrew said: "With the big six energy companies increasing their prices by nearly 10% and pay frozen, Oxford residents are rightly worried about how they will be able to afford their energy bills and some are having to make the extremely difficult choice between whether to put the heating on or feed their families. We need action to combat this crisis now.
"Labour's energy plan will see gas and electricity bills frozen from the General Election to 2017 - enough time to reform the energy market - making sure it works for families and businesses instead of ripping them off. The plans will save a typical household £120 and the average business £1,800. You can see how much you could save by visiting www.FreezeThatBill.com."
