Andrew welcomes launch of new programme at The Porch

the IT training suite Andrew and Ian at the Porch on Magdalen Road Andrew attended the launch of a new programme to help homeless and vulnerable people into the workplace at the Porch Steppin' Stone Centre today.

He said: 'The Porch does a great job working with people who are homeless or precariously housed, and I greatly welcome this support from Barclays, which is imaginative in providing both money and advice help from Barclays staff to enable people to move towards jobs.'

The Porch Steppin' Stone Centre, a local charity, encourages it members to tackle the issues of apathy, addiction and unemployment, and to move towards a positive lifestyle, including training to help them into work.
