Double celebration for Barton

Lord Mayor Susanna Pressel opened the Bash Well done Sue

It was a double celebration at the Barton Bash - a great day, packed with community events, and the wonderfully timed announcement of the MBE for Sue Holden, who has done so much for Barton and for the Barton Bash over the years.

Andrew Smith said: "Barton has a lot to be proud of, and the Barton Bash really shows the strength of community spirit and local groups. Sue Holden's MBE is richly deserved,and everyone was overjoyed the news came out on the very day of the Barton Bash."
