Oxford East MP Andrew Smith joined Zimbabwe campaigners calling for free and fair elections and an end to Mugabe's brutal oppression.
Andrew joined Zimbabweans from far and wide who converged on Oxford for a march from Redbridge to the City Centre and rally outside St Aldate's Church.
Andrew Smith said: "This was a wonderful march and rally. The spirit of the Zimbabwe people will not be broken by Mugabe's brutality."
"The determination of all those joining the march and rally - and their joy at the prospect of democratic liberation for the people of Zimbabwe - was really moving."
"I was pleased to convey a message of support from the people of Oxford, who showed in their reaction to the marchers that they shared the hope of freedom for Zimbabwe and condemnation of the brutal represssion going on right now."
"The whole world must exert every pressure for the elections in Zimbabwe to be free and fair, and for the will of the people there to be respected, so there is democracy and justice."
