Andrew was proud to invite two long-serving nurses, Nina Billen and Carol Lowe, to join Dr Tarrant Stein to officially open the marvelous new East Oxford Health Centre. The £13 million centre on the corner of Cowley Road and Manzil Way is a fantastic example of investment in the NHS. As well as two GPs' practices the centre houses a community pharmacy, a dental service and teams of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers and care staff. Andrew said: 'looking around this centre and talking with staff I was struck by the real pride that people working here have in these fantastic facilities and in the care they can give to their patients. This is a huge boost for the whole community.'
