Andrew Smith MP: On Your Side in Oxford East

Welcome to my website, I am the Labour MP for Oxford East. I believe that the main priority for an MP should be to provide a service to constituents, helping with problems and taking up views and concerns. Communication and consultation is vital, I want to use this website to let you know what I am doing, in Oxford and in Westminster, and to give you ways to share your views with me.

Andrew Smith MP opened the Fairtrade event at Templars' Square, Cowley, promoting Fairtrade products on sale in the Square and local shops like the Co-op.

Andrew said: "By choosing Fairtrade products, local customers are buying good quality goods and helping people around the world to secure a fairer price for their produce and better living and working conditions."

Fairtrade products are worth £300 million in the UK and sales are growing rapidly.

"Through our choices when shopping, we can all help change the world for the better," Andrew Smith said.
