Andrew Smith and his wife, Val, County Councillor for Leys and Lye Division, visited Oxford Young Steps Christian Youth Club, which meets at Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre every Friday evening.

Andrew answered questions from the children about his work as an MP.  Andrew and Val watched the children reherse a dance they are going to do at a festival in Solihull, and then saw basketball training and games.

Andrew said: "The Club has a really happy atmosphere.  A lot of work goes in to make it a stimulating and enjoyable evening for the children.  Their questions were very good, with encouraging interest in how to get into politics."
